Who I am.

ANDREAS SFYRIDIS

I was born in Thessaloniki in 1968

I studied photography in Brussels (Belgium, 1986-1990) in the department of the Higher School of Fine Arts “Le 75”. Since 1992 I have been active as a professional photographer on advertising photography, while since 2004 I have been dedicated exclusively to the tourism industry as a Conceptual Content Creator & Visual Story Teller Hotel Photographer. I have color management and transformational leadership seminars, while in recent years I have been systematically attending directing seminars with renowned directors such as Yiannis Paraskevopoulos, Pigi Dimitrakopoulou and Tasos Boulmetis. I closely follow developments in the tourism industry, participating in hotel seminars, lectures and conferences, while also visiting international tourism exhibitions. I am writing articles on the visual presentation of the Hospitality and Gastronomy Industry.

I am invited to present case studies from my work at conferences, workshops and seminars such as Hospitality Now, Hospitality Next Agenda, Hotelier Academy, 100% Hotel Show, Horeca, Xenia, World Food Travel Association, Philoxenia, etc.

I teach seminars at educational institutions such as ACT (American College of Thessaloniki), IEK Tourism, etc. Series of my photos have been published in the magazines Photography, Tram, Photographer and Wedding, Building, Hellenic Constructions, Hotel & Restaurant, etc.
